This diagnostic collects only what's needed to identify connection problems. Nothing here is sold or used for advertising.

What we collect

Your public IP (hashed daily with a server-side salt
the resulting fingerprint is irreversible and rotates every 24 hours)
Approximate location (country / region / city / timezone) supplied by our hosting provider's geolocation headers
ASN and organization name from ipapi.co (browser-side)
Network link quality (effectiveType, downlink, RTT) reported by your browser
Connection timings (DNS / TCP / TLS / TTFB / total) for each probed endpoint
Response status, CDN identifying headers, and up to 500 chars of response body on errors
Browser user agent and language

All endpoint probes run from your browser to the partner's own endpoints — never through our servers
Reports save to our server only when you press "Save & share"
Saved reports are stored in Upstash Redis with a 30-day TTL and a 16-character unguessable id
The share URL is read-only
no account or login is required

Reports auto-expire after 30 days
The IP fingerprint is one-way and rotates daily, so saved reports cannot be linked across days
You can request deletion of a specific report by sending its id to our support team
